"today in the bay's" christie smith live at the hospital. she has more details on the man the police are looking for. good morning. >>> good morning, jon. another strange twist in this case that's already very unusual. investigators think that the man who reported seeing a woman laying in a stairwell here at sf general may have had on a u.c.s.f. name tag. they don't know a whole lot else about him. 57-year-old lynn spaulding was found in a locked stairwell at s.f. general hospital here in san francisco on october 8th, three weeks after she banished from her room. she was here being treated for a bladder infection at the time. now, four days before she was discovered, a man told a hospital supervisor that he saw a woman in a stairwell. apparently, that supervisor looked but did not see anything. the hospital has told the family they asked deputies to look for her at least four times. details around this are somewhat sketchy. police think he could have worked for the hospital, maybe as a resident. right now, they don't have a sketch yet. there
